How long does shipping take?

We have free worldwide shipping, all VAT included. We ship every business day from our storage worldwide and deliver within 1-3 business days in Europe and US using our partner DHL for worldwide shipping. In any other country, delivery can take between 1-5 business days.

Do I have to pay any import taxes or extra costs?

No, we ship to all countries including all charges for taxes and import costs included.

Why does Hedgehog dry so fast

We have invented and patented a turbine technology together with engineers from NTNU water power laboratory. This means that we create a high air pressure that forces the humidity out the fabric of the shoe or mitten.

This means that we dry a soaking wet shoe in less than 30 minutes on tornado mode and mitten even faster.

How much weight can Hedgehog hold?

For the HANGER and WALL we recommend not drying shoes that weigh more than half a kilo. Cross country ski boots, sneakers, kids boots, mittens and gloves are fine.

For Alpine ski boots, Snowboard boots we recommend using Hedgehog OCTOPUS.

Is Hedgehog safe?

We believe Hedgehog is the safest shoe dryer on the market.

We have used a fire safe ceramic heating element, double fuses, temperature sensor and also coated all electronics with fire resistant gel.

All products have been tested and approved by NEMKO according to safety standards:

Can Hedgehog be inside a closet?

Yes, we have designed the Hedgehog to be able to operate inside a closet. If overheating occurs, it will automatically shut down.

One of the advantages of having it inside the closet is when running in tornado mode, there will be no sound.

If you are drying wet shoes and mittens over a longer time in a closed space, we recommend to have ventilation to air out the humidity.

How long is the cord?

Our cord is 3 meters. We supply the longest cord possible on an electric fan, so you can reach an electric outlet nearby.

How do I order extra modules and adapters?

We are launching new adapters in late November. To pre-order these, just send us an email on contact@hedgehogdryer.com and we will let you know when they are available.
